The first TLSWi conference will take place on the 28th and 29th May this year and is being hosted by ISCTE University in Lisbon. Invitations are out to all of those who have trained with Richard Rose on the Therapeutic Life Story Work process.

A very common theme in the Play Room is for children to want to make the dolls, babies, teddies, therapist and/or themselves better.
Note to self – always have an adequate supply of plasters and bandages.
I always make sure that in my role as a Therapeutic Life Story Work Practitioner, each child or young person has their own box of pens, stickers, scissors, shapes, sticky tape etc that is refilled when needed. I believe this enhances the message that they are worthwhile, important and unique.

just again, as per usual need to find a time to read it! Looking forward to.
I still would not be comfortable in a Play Room without sand, as a material it is just too important and therapeutic to not be present.

It is that time of year where I am usually sewing name tags in to school uniforms. In my twelfth year of doing this task, I have found Rivvits!
I really hope they work as it is like I have been given some extra time!
I hope that the summer has been as fun, relaxing and enjoyable as possible for everyone.
