Conference attended from the comfort of one’s own place

I just needed to acknowledge one of the lovely young people who I have kept in touch with over the last 4 months – virtually of course and who has really helped me to design and tweak some activities that I have been using across the screens with children and young people.

This young person also wanted to share this about her Therapeutic Life Story Work:

“I’m an adopted teenager and before I had met Nadine, I had no idea what had happened in my early years of life. In the Life Story Work we usually did fun activities about different scenarios and how we felt, these activities were really fun and interesting.

The part I enjoyed the most was when we got in contact with my Birth Mum. This did take a while and didn’t happen straight away but it’s not easy to get in contact with Birth Parents, however Nadine surely managed it.

If you get an opportunity to do this Life Story Work it will be a once in a lifetime experience and most of your questions will be answered. In my opinion I really enjoyed this because it was fun and I have found out lots of information that I didn’t know”.
